Intermediate First Aid (previously OFA 2)

This is a WorkSafeBC course and covers all the necessary components to certify the successful student for a period of 3 years.

The course curriculum includes: 

  • Adult basic life support skills including single rescuer and two person CPR/AED.
  • Primary and Secondary Survey
  • Medical and Trauma Emergencies

Duration: 16 hours (previously 35 hours)

Time: 8:30 - 4:30 Over 2 days (1 Hour Lunch)

Cost: $240.00+GST

Pre-Requisites and course expectations:

  • 16 years of age
  • Must be physically able to be on your knees for an extended period of time
  • Valid Picture ID or letter from employer stating your identity
  • Must be able to complete paperwork and written exam
  • Comfortable clothing and socks required for course training
