Individual Registrations

  • Cancellations must be submitted at least 2 business days prior to the course start time by phone or email to OVERhang.
  • Cancellations made with at least 2 business days notice are eligible for a full refund or account credit.
  • Cancellations made within 2 business days of the course start are non-refundable.

Additional notes:

  • Weather is not a valid reason for cancellation. Courses run in a wide range of conditions. If conditions are deemed unsuitable, OVERhang will adjust, relocate, or reschedule as required.
  • Certain courses (including Swiftwater, Ice Safety, Avalanche, Snowmobile, Survival, and Wilderness First Aid) require significant preparation, travel, and materials. Due to this, cancellations within 2 business days are non-refundable and exceptions are unlikely.

Private Group Bookings (Courses, Contract Training, Custom Programs)

  • Full refund if cancellation is received 14 days (2 weeks) or more prior to the start of training.
  • 50% refund if cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to the start of training.
  • Cancellations within 2 business days of the start date are non-refundable.

We will always aim to reschedule or find a solution that works where possible.
