skiing on a lakeAre you a cross country skier, snowshoer, sledder, ice fisherman, kite boarder, pond hockey player, mountaineer, or general outdoorsy type who might find themself on or near a frozen water body?

Come on out and start thinking about how to assess ice strength, learn about how it forms, the patterns of freeze and thaw, the factors that affect ice conditions, and more.  Discuss group management and discover recommended travel techniques on ice.  Do you have the right gear?  Are you asking yourself on a continual basis if the ice conditions have changed?

BONUS: a tour of our climbing facility as it develops!
